We’re a group of energetic Sunshine Coast business owners. We’re dedicated to growing our businesses and assisting other members to do the same.

Clarity, understanding and acceptance brings accountability, leading in this case to delivering on our commitment of supporting each other.
The formation of the Noosa Business Group came out of a strong belief that word of mouth referrals and recommendations are like gold, particularly when they are based on genuine firsthand experience and delivered with confidence, now even more powerful given the reach of the internet AND social media.
Noosa Business Group Inc. is a group of energetic local business owners/managers who are dedicated to the cause of growing their own businesses AND assisting other members to do the same.
We are an independent, not for profit, organisation set up and managed by members. All our funds are used to pay for the running costs of the group’s activities, predominately weekly breakfasts and networking functions. We use the balance of funds for the development and running of our website, social media, accounting software etc…and lastly *community sponsorships and donations.
The committee and other members volunteer their time to manage the group and its activities.
Noosa Business Group community support currently includes joint major sponsorship of Australian Business Week (held yearly for year 11 students) at Noosa State High School. From time to time we also make donations/minor sponsorship in other areas of our community.

Noosa Business Group is a well-known, highly regarded and progressive business networking group, making a real difference in our own businesses, the local business community and the community at large.
Our ‘Brand Statement’
We support each other to grow our businesses and our community and enjoy ourselves in the process.
By regulating membership to only ONE member from any given field of business, we avoid creating divisions and/or conflicts of interests.
(We work around limited overlaps and operate a waitlist of people wishing to fill specific vacancies if and when they arise).
By supporting each other, we grow ourselves and our businesses to a higher level than if we were operating in isolation. By doing this we also enhance and add growth to our local business community as well as the Sunshine Coast community as a whole.
Each member has many opportunities within their own lives and businesses to capitalise on opportunities to support each of the other businesses within the group. We do this via informed and genuine referrals and recommendations.
One member providing referrals to say 25 other members, has the potential of having the referral returned many times over, as each SINGLE member receives the benefit of ongoing referrals from EVERY other member.
Our philosophy is based more on ‘what can I contribute to the group’ rather than ‘what can I get out of the group purely for myself’. Understanding that some members have greater opportunities to give and receive referrals based on business type, BUT each member has equal opportunity to provide and/or receive support from colleagues to learn, grow and enhance.
We have a wealth of skills knowledge and experience from a diverse range of backgrounds and businesses (Large/Medium/Small).
All our members are current business owners or managers, operating either small or medium sized businesses. Offering insight and understanding that is both relevant and current.
The regular presentations made by individual members enable all members to get a very good understanding of all member businesses as well as the backgrounds, skills, knowledge and experience of the individuals involved.
It provides for a comfortable and safe environment for individuals to source and glean understanding from other members, both formally and informally.
The collective make-up of the group means it is highly likely that a member can find education, support, coaching and mentoring on most topics, if they wish.
