We take time out of our busy schedules, every week, to invest time in promoting our own businesses and enlisting other members support to pass business referrals our way.

It works because we are like-minded business owners all aiming for the same things – business networking, business referrals, business and personal growth, building relationships and making a contribution.
Structured but social.
That’s probably the best way of describing our meetings. A clear focus on results, but never losing sight of the fact that enjoying ourselves in the process is one of them.
Each week we gather at Noosa Springs from 6:45 am onwards to collect our buffet breakfast, take a seat and be ready to start the meeting at 7 am. Finish time is 8 am. (See also Breakfast Out meetings below).

The meetings are chaired, on rotation, by a different member each week. They follow a tried and true format which provides for the following:
- Group news, business and updates
- 30-second promotion by each member of their own business
- Exchange of referral numbers for the past week
- Two 10 min. presentations by members. *Guest speakers take up these slots on one meeting per quarter, adding complimentary business information and perspectives to the group.
- Networking and ‘getting to know you’ time is made available – before, during the ‘halftime’ break and at the end.
Presenters, who are allocated on rotation, are advised well in advance so that their presentations can be both interesting and informative.

The 10-minute presentations provide the opportunity to introduce to other group members, the businesses capabilities and strengths along with any variations in business activity, products, operations, market conditions etc.
This regular sharing assists each member to gain a solid understanding of every other business in the group. This makes for informed and confident referrals and recommendations of each other’s businesses.
On some occasions the presenter chooses to use this time to pass on key learnings to the group or to open up discussion and seek input on a particular topic or problem, assisting both themselves and others members present.
We make sure we finish at 8 am, so everyone can get off to work on time. There is often a group who will head to the Noosa Springs coffee shop for a quick chat; everyone is welcome.
We find by meeting every week, we keep up-to-date on what’s happening across all the businesses and it definitely helps establish and build stronger relationships. It is also a great way for new members to quickly establish themselves within the group as well as getting to know everyone themselves.
Regular exposure and repetition of information help build a solid and consistent platform for business referrals that work for everyone.
